Employees/unsolicited job applications – We collect information from you when you apply for employment and when you complete forms applicable to the recruitment and selection process. Applications from job seekers, are kept with permission from the job seeker, for six months from the receipt of application for the purpose of recruitment in the immediate future. After six months, this information will be destroyed.
Other veterinary surgeons and staff (who are involved in the care of an animal), Contractors etc (other than those employed by Sutherland & Reynolds Pty Ltd) – may collect personal information from you when you interact with us. This information is generally collected for administration purposes.

Destruction of Personal Information - Sutherland & Reynolds Pty Ltd takes reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information where it is no longer required. Personal information which forms part of our veterinary surgeons treatment records is maintained in accordance with legislative and professional requirements.
Disclosure of Your Personal Information - Unless you authorise us to, Sutherland & Reynolds will not disclose any personal information including your pet's medical records to anyone other than who is listed as owner or authorised person on your client file. It is your responsiblity to inform us if there are any changes to who can access the information on your file.
It is your responsiblity to ensure that any personal information stored on your pet's microchip is kept up to date. The information stored on the microchip ultimately reflects the legal ownership of your pet. You must check with your pet's microchip provider (Central Animal Records, AAR etc) as to what information they have stored on the chip and update it accordingly if your information changes. If there is conflicting information between the microchipping company database and our client/patient database, we may not be able to provide you with information regarding your pet, including being able to contact you if your pet becomes lost.
